A WWE veteran was recently seen working out in the gym with none other than CM Punk.
The veteran being referenced, Big E, was last booked in a match in 2022. There, he teamed up with his New Day ally Kofi Kingston to take on Ridge Holland and Sheamus. Unfortunately, a move from Holland resulted in Big E landing on his neck, causing a serious injury that left him with no choice but to retire from pro wrestling altogether.
Nevertheless, it appears that Big E hasn’t slacked off when it comes to keeping in shape. As seen on CM Punk’s Instagram story, Big E was seen spending time in the gym with The Second City Saint.
CM Punk and WWE legend AJ Lee recently spoke about losing their dog
In a WWE Unreal Season 3, CM Punk and AJ Lee spoke candidly about losing their dog Larry some time back.
Larry was Punk and Lee’s family member for a long time before passing away. Speaking about him, CM Punk stated:
“You know, I like to say Larry went back to his home planet. Larry was a very special little dude. He came with a bite on his record. So, he was a little criminal. He was a perfect example of a little misfit that needed to find his people. No different than me. No different than AJ [Lee]. They warned us; they said, you know, if he gets another bite on his record, by law, they have to put him down. That’s why I was always so protective of Larry… I love the little dude. I just wanted him to be with me that day, that’s all,” Punk said.
AJ Lee continued the conversation, stating:
“We don’t have kids. We don’t have a lot of family. It was just us and Larry for a decade. So, it was like losing a family member. Larry was this emotional support for me. And the past few years, as he turned into a senior dog, I became his emotional support human, and he never left my side. Larry got sick, and it took him pretty fast,” Lee said.
CM Punk is still the Undisputed WWE Champion. It remains to be seen what is next for him in the coming weeks.
