Seth Rollins has dropped a major SummerSlam bombshell and in the process has teased a shocking WWE return. If this happens, then it will bring the house down.
The Architect is currently involved in a feud with Roman Reigns as he continues to be a thorn in his side. The two former Shield members will renew their rivalry at SummerSlam as Roman will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line.
As mentioned earlier, Rollins has constantly been in a feud with Roman and his family. In the build up to WrestleMania 40, he was embroiled in a constant war of words with none other than The Rock. The Rock did not hold back and neither did Seth as the two traded bards in what was a lengthy feud.
At the SummerSlam kickoff, Seth Rollins once again took shots at The Rock and seemingly mocked him by saying:
“As far as I am concerned, I am the people’s champion, baby. If you smell what I am cooking.”
There were audible gasps from the fans in attendance and dropping such a line, so close to the event, might hint that a comeback is on the cards for the Final Boss.
Roman Reigns sends warning to Seth Rollins
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins signed a contract one week ago for their upcoming title fight at SummerSlam. After the signing, Rollins attacked Roman and hit him with a stomp.
After suffering that attack, Roman swiftly took to Twitter and sent out a message to his challenger and warned that he could end him. He wrote:
“OF COURSE the guy who can’t win a title on his own would sucker punch me. For that type of disrespect, WE could end you. Too easy. Just remember…all the biggest moments of your career are because of ME. Not anymore. At SummerSlam.. I close the door on you, forever.”
With Roman clearly mentioning the word ‘we,’ it could imply that his family might get involved in some way, shape or form. That is why The Rock callout by Seth Rollins comes at an interesting time ahead of SummerSlam.
